Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror

Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror is the top civil servant and head-honcho at the Ministry of ‘Lets-Blame-Someone-Else’. He’s heard every lame excuse in the book, yet still finds himself astounded at the depth that some humans sink, in order to avoid being accountable for their own poor choices.

To them, it’s always going to be someone else’s fault, and responsibility for one’s own actions seems to be an alien concept! But we shall go deeper with this little ‘delight’ later in the story, with the law of humility.

Everything is energy. Energy in motion, is things like our thoughts and emotions.

We’re like walking frequencies, in a world of ‘like’ attracts ‘likes’. So, whatever we send out, creates a ‘like for like’ energy that will eventually come winging back to us in one form or another. Everything we do creates either a positive, or a negative consequence. Today, Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror is going teach us how to use karma as a guide-map. This is so that we can be more mindful of our thoughts, words, and deeds to make better choices going forward.

The minister of ‘Lets-Blame-Someone-Else’ is meticulous with his mindfulness so that he can be sure to send out kindness, compassion and love, because he’d rather have that, than be on the wrong end of his own karma. To Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror, karma is a philosophy of how to live our life so that we can become the best version of ourselves and live the most fulfilling life we might desire.

Karma is based on action, not result. Did you know, that, by adjusting our choices, thoughts, and actions, we can actually change the path of our life in an instant. It turns out that Karma, is just the the universe giving back to us the things that we dish out. It uses our situations, and interactions as a tool to help us navigate our path toward fulfilling the agenda of our soul.

Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror points out that we often get distracted, and miss the messages that the universe constantly sends us. This then, tricks us into believing that we’ve got ‘bad’ karma; when really, the situations were just signs/messages for us to adjust our sails and correct course toward our higher purpose. Our journey is not about being perfect, it’s about removing what’s NOT really us, and for us to become who we GENUINELY are. The minister of ‘Lets-Blame-Someone-Else’ has highlighted these useful laws that  relate to karma, for us to better understand:

The Great Law: When most of us make reference to karma, it’s usually this one – ‘Cause and Effect’. According to the Great Law, whatever thoughts or energy we put out, we get back — regardless whether good or bad. In order to get what we want, Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror suggests that we embody and be worthy of it. We reap what we sow. If we plant love and kindness in our life, we shall get more of the same in return.

Law of Creation:  Life doesn’t happen to us, it happens through us. We’re not a passive observer. What surrounds us is a reflection of what’s inside us, so create intentionally. The fun stuff in life doesn’t just happen. We shouldn’t wait for things to just magically come our way. We need to take action. We co-create the making of what we want, based on our intentions and manifesting.

The minister of ‘Lets-Blame-Someone-Else’ is asking us what it is that we can release, to create space for what we want to show up? We then need to figure out what we want our life to look like, how our skills and actions can contribute to that goal, and how we can tweak them accordingly? The power to create our ideal reality lies within each and every one of us!

Law of Humility:  We must first accept something before we can change it. Refusing to acknowledge reality keeps us stuck. Humility is not weakness, it’s the beginning of real change.

We even need to be humble enough to accept that sometimes, the situation that we find ourself in, is the result of what we probably did in the past. Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror’s golden nuggets for us, is to accept both how our actions in the past haven’t always served us, and to acknowledge the role we played in causing our own karma. In learning this, we can then forgive ourself, and move on.

Law of Growth: Is about learning, and, expansion within ourselves. As we grow, change, and evolve internally, our external reality will change and grow as a consequence. To be a positive influence for the world, we need to start with ourself.

Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror says that this is because real change, or personal growth, begins with what we have control over, which is ourself and not others. The law of growth also embraces the things that we cannot control too, and also how well we accept it. We always need to focus on ourself, and not try to control the people/things around us. Growth never ends.

Law of Responsibility:  Our life is a mirror of our inner world. Whatever goes wrong in our life has a trace back to ourself. Stop blaming. Start owning. That’s where our power lies. This Law is to remind us that we OWN what happens to us in life. The minister of ‘Lets-Blame-Someone-Else’ wants us to know that we are responsible for how we show up in the world, how we allow others to treat us, and, how we treat other people.

We may not have control over everything that happens to us, but we do have control over how we respond, and sometimes that’s the most important part. WE are each a product of the choices that we make.

Law of Connection: Everything in our life (including our past, present, and future), are connected. Who/what we are today, is the result of our previous actions. Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror adds that, who we will be tomorrow, will be the result of what we say, or do, today. As we help, teach, love, and respect ourselves, we do the same for others. We just have to be observant and tune into it. By doing so, we’ll be able to see the ripple effect of karma more clearly. The connection is always there!

Law of Focus: We get bogged down when we focus on too many things at the same time, which then leads to frustration, and negativity. The law of focus encourages us to concentrate on one thing at a time. Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror suggests that by slowing down, and releasing the constant need to be productive, we engage life with more intention, and meaning. This then, allows us to be present, and purposeful. We actually accomplish much more, and, with better results!

The minister of ‘Lets-Blame-Someone-Else points out that we cannot think two thoughts at the same time and that where our focus goes, the energy flows. When we fill our mind with higher thoughts, we leave very little room for greed, anger, or fear.

Law of Giving/Hospitality: This is about selflessness, giving to others, and practicing what we preach. A lot of us have good intentions and values, but how many of us actually match our aspirations with action? According to the minister of ‘Lets-Blame-Someone-Else’, for alignment with this law, we have to focus not just on good intentions, but on meaningful ACTION, without us expecting reciprocation! Aligning both our intentions, and actions in this manner, leave big clues that we’re leading a life of integrity.

Law of Now: To experience peace of mind, we have to embrace the present ‘now’ moment. In our world of distraction, chaos, and anxiety, this is hard to achieve. Most of us live our lives thinking about what happened in the past, what we did wrong, and play the same old record over and over again in our head. It prevents us from enjoying the present ‘now’ moment.

Being present can only happen when we let go of negative thoughts/issues/behaviours from our past. When we get too focused on the past, we relive them, which gets exhausting. Making a habit to be present, will allow the experiences of our life to become more engaging and rewarding. Getting in touch with our present ‘now’ moment, is to get rooted into our senses. Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror suggests that it can be done as effortlessly as: Looking around where we are (in right now), FOCUS our eyes on an object, blink, and say: ‘I am here’.

Law of Change: History will repeat until we learn from it. The same situations keep appearing in our life until we extract the lesson they carry. Change comes when the lesson is learned. If we keep experiencing the same issue/situation over and over again, this would be the universe nudging us toward change.

The minister of ‘Lets-Blame-Someone-Else’ insists that we need to take responsibility, and do something different to stop the cycle. Only different actions, and an openness to evolving into a better version of ourself, can stop the vicious cycle. Change affords us a different path, so that we can create a new future, and a better version of ourself, without the patterns/burdens of the past.

Law of Patience/Reward: Is about showing up, doing the work, and not giving up on our big goals (even when the going gets tough). Consistent hard work pays off. It’s important to acknowledge that achieving great things, requires both time, and persistence. Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror highlights that fruition of our goals, comes with the consistency, so we should make sure to celebrate, and savour, every little victory along our way. It’s important to recognize our progress, and stay committed to our goal, because success will be neither quick, nor easy.

Law of Significance/Inspiration: This law tells us that we ALL have value to offer the world. Every soul incarnates with perfected abilities honed over many lifetimes, intended for service to humanity, and ourselves. When we need motivation, or, feel like we don’t have a purpose, this is the law to focus on. The minister of ‘Lets-Blame-Someone-Else’ says that we all play a part, and, have something to contribute to this world. What we bring to the table may seem small in our own mind, but, can make a huge difference in the life of someone else.

Law of Cycles:  Everything in life comes in seasons. Life moves in rhythms. What ends will begin again in a new form. Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror points out that by understanding cycles will help us stop fighting these natural transitions.

We’re each born with a specific gift, mission, and/or purpose that only we can bring into the world through our uniqueness. Sharing our skills, and gifts, changes the world for the better, and that’s why we’re here. The Coddle-Poppers use these laws to help them understand how karma works, and, the effect that their thoughts, and actions, have on not just them, but also the world around them, and, that what they do can come right back to them. It encourages the Coddle-Poppers to aspire to act from a place of alignment. It also helps them realize, just how much control they wield over their own life too! Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror freely admits, that when they changed the way that they looked at things, the things that they looked at changed too!

The minister of ‘Lets-Blame-Someone-Else’ insists that if we humans also use karma as a set of guidelines in our own life, it can incentivize us to be more mindful of our thoughts, actions, and deeds before we make a decision, especially now that the age of believing is over, and that we are now in the age of KNOWING.

When we’re finally able to express our TRUE-self, Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror warns that the next step is for us to brace ourself, because it is in this phase of our spiritual growth that others get triggered, and then blame us for it (their law of humility). The price of being true to ourself, means us being like a mirror. It’s no longer a path of enabling, or comforting others, it will be the absolute opposite.

In our mere BE-ing, we reveal to others what they’re running away from. It gets uncomfortable for them when they have to question their own poor life choices. Being accountable is not something that humans are a fan of (law of responsibility). Society has taught us to be really good at deflecting, and pointing the blame at others, but that only reveals us as fake and ignorant.

Patrick ‘Pointy Finger’ McMirror insists that there should be no price worth  paying to compromise our TRUE-self for, just to make someone else comfortable (The law of significance/inspiration). Our mere existence as our TRUE-SELF, brings a huge shift in the collective consciousness. Dare greatly, and be a REAL soul in this FAKE world.

Having the courage to be our GENUINE-self goes headfirst against our longing to be accepted, and sense of belonging. It will feel like we’re being pulled in conflicting directions. This is actually a growth opportunity, for us to be who we REALLY are (Law of creation)! We all have to look back on our lives at the end, and the minister of ‘Lets-Blame-Someone-Else’ knows that none of us want the regret that: out of temporary insecurity, we caved in, and traded the agenda of our soul for the fickle, overhyped, social comfort of the herd mentality. Eventually, we shall decide that being authentic, is more important than being liked, and that is when our life will take off!
