LAUGH IT OUT
This week, our mission should we choose to accept it is: LAUGH IT OUT.
Make others laugh. Did you know that people who smile more have a more positive effect on those around them? Let’s get people in the smiling mood this week by making them laugh.
THE FLY ON THE WALL PERSPECTIVE
The point of this little exercise is for us to create a mental distance between us and our thoughts, feelings and/or experiences. In spiritual terms, we refer to this as ‘being in the world, but not of it,’ where we rise above the issue, and can see both sides.
WHAT MADE YOU FEEL A LITTLE MORE LIKE YOURSELF TODAY?
What was it, that made us feel a little more like ourself today? Maybe it was our favourite pair of jeans, a song from down memory lane, or our weirdo friend who gets our humour.
When life feels all over the place, reconnecting with even a small part of your real self can feel grounding…
THE POWER OF REFLECTION
THE POWER OF REFLECTION
In moments of quiet reflection, gratitude illuminates our journey. When we look back with thankfulness, we see how every twist and turn has shaped us into who we are meant to become.
Here’s Jeremiah Doodle-Dumpling with a few tips on:
WRITING OUR YEAR IN REVIEW
DEAR AGONY ANTY
HOW DO I BREAK OUT OF THIS DISTRACTED FOG AND PROPERLY ENGAGE WITH MY LIFE AGAIN?‘Dear Anty’ is a service that anonymously answers Coddle-Poppers problems as they encounter them, and as we all know, a problem shared, is a problem halved. ‘Dear Anty’ has become so...
5-SECOND RULE
Tommy ‘Top-Tips’ Tinklehausser describes the 5-Second rule is a simple countdown technique where we count backward 5-4-3-2-1, and then spring into action on something we know that we need to get done.
CLEARING LIMITATIONS
Clarence Kokzuh-Poffen, is affectionately known as ‘The Cleaner.’ This particular Coddle-Popper has a very unique talent, where he can take any limited thought, and turn it on its head to a positive. He cleans our stinking thinking, and turns our ’can’ts’ into beautiful shiny ‘cans’.
THE GAP BETWEEN WHAT DIDN’T WORK AND UNDERSTANDING WHY
This cycle is exhausting: I summon energy to try something new for my mental health. I invest hope and effort, then watch it fizzle out without the changes I was hoping for.
THE MAGIC IN QUESTIONS
Our intuition, our caution, and our willingness to wonder are our secret superpowers, and they’ll guide us better than any unquestioned ‘truth’ ever could.
THE HAPPINESS PROCESS
For some weird reason, humans appear to have the hardest time finding ‘Joy’ in their lives, and they look in the strangest of strange places. In the teapot, in the cookie jar, down the pub, in their shoes but never their socks! They search their bank accounts and even look in shops. I’m not sure what that’s all about. Why is it that humans never ever look in the most obvious of obvious places?
REACT, REGRET, REPEAT?
Picture this: You’re scrolling through social media, minding your own business (sort of), when suddenly you see a post that pushes your buttons…hard. Your face heats up, your fingers fly across the keyboard, and in seconds, you’ve typed something… not-so-nice. One moment of digital rage and poof… welcome to the ‘React and Regret’ rollercoaster.
WHY BOUNDARIES IMPROVE MENTAL HEALTH
WHY BOUNDARIES IMPROVE MENTAL HEALTH
Boundaries are simply the limits, rules, or lines in the sand that we set for our own personal comfort/well-being.
